At its core, growth is experience and knowledge.
It’s about learning new things — about yourself and the world — and expanding your perspective.
But what does a broader perspective actually bring you? More worries?
Of course not.
It increases your awareness. It helps you make better decisions about your life. It sharpens your emotional intelligence. And we’ve all seen what a lack of emotional intelligence can do — just turn on the news.
Beyond that, personal growth builds your self-confidence, enhances your satisfaction with life, and improves your relationships.
The closer you get to yourself, the more clearly you understand what you want. And the clearer you are about what you want, the more likely you are to find yourself in the right place, with the right people, at the right time.
A Personal Check-In
So here’s a question for you:
In the last six months, how much have you grown?
How much closer have you come to understanding yourself?
And has this blog series helped in that journey?
Honestly, whether or not this series helped isn’t what truly matters.
What matters is:
- Have you taken the time to reflect?
- Have you tried to make a change, however small?
Maybe you’d never thought about these things before. Maybe you felt alone and found comfort in my words. Or maybe you found all of this irrelevant — and that’s okay too. However you’ve seen it, what’s important is that you give time to yourself, and begin to know yourself better.
A Note From Me
Let me say this: I reflect on these questions myself.
In fact, that’s how I’ve worked through many of my own struggles. That’s why I started this series — to share my thoughts and the way I process these questions.
Writing and sharing is one of the best ways I’ve found to deal with challenges.
Over time, I’ve had people reach out on Instagram, telling me how much this series helped them. That always makes me feel grateful. I’ve also had long, heartfelt conversations with some of you. And every time we share, the burden feels a little lighter.
Before I Go — Two Gentle Reminders:
- No matter where you live, or how trapped or hopeless you feel — you are not alone.
- Stop comparing yourself to others. Your journey is yours.
And if you ever feel like you can’t handle things on your own, please don’t hesitate to seek professional help. That, too, is a sign of strength.
